FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WEEKLY PUBLIC CLASSES

HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?

When a class is fully booked, you have the option to join the waitlist. When you join the waitlist, you will automatically be added to the class if someone cancels their reservation. If you do not see an option to join a waitlist/booked class, that means the waitlist is also full.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I GOT OFF THE WAITLIST AND INTO THE CLASS?

If you get added to a class from the waitlist, you will receive an email and/or text message notifying you that you have been added. Ensure your notification settings in MindBody are turned on so you receive these notifications. We do everything we can on our end to ensure you receive important information in a timely manner; however, if you turn off your email/text notifications or opt out, we cannot contact you and you will be responsible for monitoring your spot.

WHEN WILL I GET ADDED TO A CLASS FROM THE WAITLIST?

We cannot guarantee you will get added to a class from the waitlist; however, reservations are cancelled frequently, making room for those on the waitlist, especially in beginner level classes. You can get added to a class up to one hour before the class begins. If you can no longer attend the class, you are responsible for removing yourself from the waitlist.

WHAT IF I CAN NO LONGER COME TO THE CLASS?

Being on a waitlist means that you fully plan on attending the class if you get added. If you can no longer attend the class, you are responsible for removing yourself from the waitlist. If you get added to the class and can no longer attend or don't show up, it is considered a late-cancel and your class will be forfeited.

IF I'M ON A WAITLIST, CAN I SHOW UP AND WAIT FOR A SPOT TO OPEN?

Yes, you can. You will need to wait five minutes after the class has begun. After that, if there is an open spot in class, the front desk associate will allow you to take that open spot.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Definitely! Most classes fill up quickly - sometimes two weeks in advance. We cannot guarantee you will have a spot in class without a reservation.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

We suggest arriving 5 minutes before your scheduled class (10 minutes early if it is your first class)

If you are 5 minutes late to class, we reserve the right to give your spot to another student. If you call to let us know you are on your way, we will hold your spot.

If you miss the warm up (usually the first 15 minutes of class), you will not be allowed to participate in class. This policy is in place for your safety. A proper warm-up is crucial to staying safe and injury-free.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

We have free parking available in our private parking lot. If our lot is full there is plenty of additional free parking directly across the street.

CAN I CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY CLASS?

Yes, if you need to reschedule or cancel a class, please do so at least 12 hours before the class begins. Your class will be forfeited if cancelled less than 12 hours prior. You can cancel classes online using our reservation system or via the mobile app.

We are unable to provide special exceptions to our 12-hour cancellation policy. We understand things come up that are out of your control, but we have to follow this policy in order to continue offering classes.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

The recommended attire is specific to each class. Please view the Class Description for this information. Please do not wear any lotion or oils on your arms, hands, legs, or feet the day of class. Moisturizer makes the equipment very slippery and builds up a residue that makes it dangerous for you and your fellow students. This also applies to the floor. Oily feet make the floor slippery.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

Please bring a yoga mat, bottle of water and hand towel (if taking a pole class). We have complimentary yoga mats if you forget yours as well as water fountains and bottled water for purchase.

IS THERE A PLACE TO CHANGE CLOTHES?

Yes, there are two changing rooms as well as two clean restrooms.

WHO CAN ATTEND CLASSES?

Anyone over the age of 18 can attend classes. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted in the building.

Our vibe is feminine, but our classes are not gender-specific.

IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT?

Our aerial classes have a weight limit of 250 pounds for spotting purposes (silk, hammock, hoop).

CAN I OBSERVE A CLASS?

Spectators are not permitted in public classes. This is to ensure everyone’s comfort and privacy is respected.

CAN I BRING MY PARTNER OR CHILDREN?

Children, babies and observers are not permitted inside the building.

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I AM PREGNANT OR INJURED?

If you are pregnant or have an injury, please check with your doctor first before participating.

WILL I HAVE TO SHARE A POLE/SILK/HOOP/HAMMOCK?

It depends on the class and room you are in. Silk, Hoop and Hammock classes require two people per apparatus for safety purposes. Most of our beginner pole students will have their own pole. Intermediate and Advanced level pole students often share poles in our Charm studio.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M LATE TO CLASS?

If you are five or more minutes late to your class, your spot may be given away. If this is the case, you will be able to reschedule. If you call to let us know you are on your way, we will hold your spot.

If you miss the warm up (usually the first 10-15 minutes of class), you will not be allowed to participate in class. It is too dangerous to participate without adequate stretching.

HOW OFTEN DOES THE SCHEDULE CHANGE?

The class schedule changes every 3 - 4 months. This allows students to attend classes that they may not have been able to attend in the past.

I HAVE A PACKAGE BUT THE SYSTEM IS ASKING FOR PAYMENT

Your package has either been fully utilized or is expired. Be sure to utilize your classes before your package expires. We recommend reserving your classes as soon as possible to get the most out of your package before it expires.

I HAVE A MEMBERSHIP BUT THE SYSTEM IS ASKING FOR PAYMENT

You may be out of classes. If this is the case, we offer additional class packages or you may purchase an additional single class. Some memberships offer discounted purchases!

Members are able to reserve spots in classes that are during their current billing period only. This ensures classes do not fill up too far in advance and that every student has a fair opportunity to sign up for his/her favorite classes. If the system is asking for payment, it may be because you are trying to reserve a spot in a class that is beyond your next payment date.

For additional membership questions, please call (615) 891-3910.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS / VIDEOS?

Photo and video are encouraged; however please consider the privacy of your fellow classmates before including them in your footage.

I AM UNABLE TO USE MY CLASSES. CAN I GET A REFUND?

All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please keep this in mind before making a purchase.

WHAT IS YOUR INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY?

We rarely cancel classes, but should that happen, we will contact you directly, via text message or phone call. If a class is cancelled, your class credit will be returned to your account instantly and available to use for a different class. If severe weather is predicted and you are not comfortable driving, please be sure to early-cancel your reservation in order to avoid losing your class. Do not assume your class will be cancelled. If we are open, but you late-cancel because of the weather, your class will be forfeited.
