If you are looking for something new and fun to try, you are in the right place!
At Miss Fit Academy, we are dedicated to providing a comfortable place for people of all ages (18+), shapes and sizes to enjoy their dance and/or fitness adventure. No strength, coordination, fitness or dance experience required! Aerial and pole don’t discriminate due to age, size, or current physical condition. ANYONE can participate in our classes and we strive to be completely inclusive offering something for everyone.
WHERE SHOULD I START?
We recommend starting your new adventure with one of the following classes, which are all perfectly suitable for beginners - no experience or prior strength needed! Our beginner classes are very popular and can fill up about two weeks in advance. Be sure to purchase your package and sign up for your classes as soon as possible. If you see you see a class that is full, don't hesitate to join the waitlist. Visit our Class Schedule!
Our waitlists are very effective if you join at least 7-10 days in advance. Please keep in mind that a waitlist is digital waiting line and that by joining, you plan on attending the class if you get added. Students can be added to classes up to 1 hour before the class begins. If you change your plans, be sure to remove yourself from the waiting line (waitlist) to prevent from being added/missing a class.
POLE DANCE 101
This Freshman level class is perfect for those who are new to pole dancing and want to see what it's all about. The class will be filled with beginners just like you! You will learn the fundamentals of pole dance as well as floor work, dance moves and beginner spins. No experience needed!

Leggings/shorts, t-shirt/tank, barefoot, yoga mat, water, hand towel
We have extra yoga mats if you don't have one yet.
CHAIR DANCE 101
Earn your seat at the front of the class with Exotic Chair Dance! Flirt your way to straight A's with your eyes, lips and hips as you tighten and strengthen your physique and feel more confident and sexy in everyday life. Use your new, flirty skills to impress your special someone or just for fun. Class begins with a 15 minute chair-fit warm up. No experience needed!

AERIAL HAMMOCK 101
Aerial hammock is similar to aerial silks; however, the fabric is folded in half and the ends are tied at the ceiling, creating a hammock-like apparatus. Aerial Hammock combines flexibility, fluidity and hammock tricks into one gravity defying workout. The perfect mix of fun and challenging! The easy inversions allow for spinal decompression and you can explore a full range of motion in a safe and supported way. This class is great for any fitness or flexibility level.

AERIAL HOOP 101
Come hang with us! Aerial Hoop, also known as Lyra, is a large metal hoop suspended in the air. It is a fascinating circus apparatus in which students learn beautiful maneuvers and shapes on. Aerial Hoop is a great way to train like the cirque pros while being elegant and graceful like a dancer. In this Freshman level class, you will learn a variety of techniques to mount the hoop and basic tricks and poses along with flexibility exercises. Various sized double point and single point hoops are used as well as a special trapeze hoop.

AERIAL SILKS 101
The most challenging class we offer, Aerial Silks, also called Fabric or Ribbon, is a long piece of fabric that is folded in half and hung from the ceiling to create two long tails of fabric. Students utilize the two fabric tails to create a beautiful performance art. You will gain flexibility, strength and develop increased stamina in a creative and supportive environment. This introductory-level silks class is for students who are brand new or still getting comfortable on the silks. Instruction includes the fundamentals of aerial silks, encouraging proper form and technique while learning to execute basic moves close to the ground. The goal at this level is to increase body awareness and confidence in the air.

We have a package just for you! Our New Student Special is our most popular package for brand new students. It's just $38 and you get to take 3 classes. Choose any 3 classes! You can mix and match and take them at your own pace. This offer is only available for your first purchase and first-time visitors of Miss Fit Academy. TIPS FOR NEW STUDENTS
LOCATION
265 Hermitage Avenue, Nashville, TN 37210
Allow plenty of time to commute / find our facility / find parking.
There is always traffic in Nashville between 4 pm and 6:30 pm.
PARKING
Free parking is available in our private parking lot as well as across the street.
ARRIVAL
Arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to register with the front desk and change clothes (if needed)
WHAT TO WEAR
Check the Class Description for recommended attire.
Do not wear jewelry, belts, Velcro, zippers, lotion or oils.
BRING
Bottle of water and your workout attire (if you plan on changing clothes at MFA). Some classes recommend bringing a yoga mat, but we have extra in case you don't have one.
