Contract (1099)

Friday and Saturday evenings

MFA is seeking motivated, enthusiastic individuals to teach adult dance classes on weekends. Classes involve chair dancing, booty shaking and pole dancing (free training available for pole dance) This is a contract (1099) job. You set your days and hours! Individuals selected for this opportunity must attend and complete a handful of dance classes.

Part-Time Position (20-30 hours/week)

Evening & Weekend Availability Required

The Front Desk/Sales & Media position is the voice of Miss Fit Academy. You will also help grow the business with valued input, creative ideas and projects that will utilize and increase your skill set. This position has a strong emphasis on sales and retention. Tasks include greeting guests and providing the best customer experience possible, answering phone calls and responding to emails, collecting payments, taking reservations, giving tours, selling services, restocking supplies, taking inventory, cleaning and organizing, keeping classes and events on track and ensuring operations run smoothly, and participating in weekly meetings.

The Ideal Candidate is:

  • self-starter, and quick learner

  • Exceptional writing skills: proper grammar, spelling, punctuation

  • Organized, goal-oriented, very attentive to detail

  • Able to multi-task and work with several people at the same time

  • Seeking a long term position with potential for growth

  • Consistently punctual, dependable, positive

  • Comfortable selling products and services and speaking to groups

  • Must be available both evenings and weekends (2-3 evenings a week)

  • A strong retail and sales background

  • Front desk experience

  • Efficient with Windows, Word, Excel, typing

  • iPhone savvy

  • At least 18 years old


  • College degree or currently pursuing a degree
